New Learning Paths for Training Staff
Workshop
Co-presenting with Vivian Harberts
This innovative workshop is designed for educators and trainers, focusing on the development of new learning paths for training staff in vocational education and training. It draws inspiration from the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training’s major initiative “Learning paths” in Germany, addressing the challenges of training staff when training a diverse group of learners.
The workshop, lasting 50 minutes, will be interactive and participant-driven. It begins with a brief introduction to the German initiative, followed by group discussions to assess the applicability of these concepts in different national contexts. Participants will engage in brainstorming sessions to identify challenges and opportunities in their training environments. The session will incorporate case studies and real-world examples to facilitate practical understanding. The goal is for participants to leave with concrete ideas and strategies adaptable to their contexts.
