Hyflex Teaching and Learning Beyond COVID

Presentation

This presentation will describe the use of Hyflex teaching and learning at Arkansas Tech University. Hyflex is a teaching method that combines the benefits of classroom instruction with the flexibility of virtual learning. Students have a choice of how they want to attend class, interact with the instructor and interact with their classmates. At Arkansas Tech University, this method of instruction began as a way of dealing with numerous issues created by the pandemic. However, Hyflex instruction has proved to be very appealing to students, and the university is investing resources to expand this method to additional courses and programs.
